You are sitting in a garden.
Watching the sun rise.
A flock of birds is flying high. Chirping loudly. You hear it. You accept it. You don’t associate with it. Because you are watching the sun.
Even a single thought, like, “These birds are so beautiful”, will kill everything.
Kill the birds. Kill the chirping. Kill the garden. But most importantly.
It will kill the sunrise.
A mere association with the chirping. And you miss the sunrise.
You go on killing that sunrise every moment. Every day. Every night.
You meet thousands of people. And none of them really touch you.
And then you meet one person. And your life is changed forever.
This is a famous movie quote.
I only like half of it though. It does not go deep. Deep into the “Want of Love”, and its associated suffering.
The only way two people can connect with each other is when the sunrise of one person meets the sunrise of the other.
In fact, the sunrise is one only. They are already connected.
Both of them are sitting together in the garden watching the sunrise.
But the birds are chirping.
Maybe for just one person. Or both.
The only way then, for them to connect, is if both of them hear the chirping, but not lose the sunshine.
A mistake by even one person. And the sunrise is gone for both.
The least you can do. Is to keep on watching the sunrise. In this case, there is at least a possibility, that someone will come. Someone, who is also watching the sunrise.
You meet that one person. And your life is changed forever.
Instead of looking for love. Give love. Be love.
And you will realise. That all this while. There was nothing but love.
In everything. In everyone.
Fade away the chirping.
Keep looking at the sunrise.
Be the sunrise.
What you seek. Is seeking you.
