My Christmas Vacation

My Christmas Vacations were about to begin. All my friends were sharing their vacation plans. I went to my mom and told her their plans. 

She asked me, "So where is Aditya & Ananya (my sister) planning for this Christmas?" 

I was sad and my sister replied "Nowhere! Just Day Care!" 

Then my Mom said..."This Vacation, we are going to Mahabaleshwar!"

We were so excited. We shouted loudly, jumped, clapped, hugged my Mom and screamed. After my dad came from his office, we thanked him for the surprise.

Our Vacation began, right from starting packing for our vacation. The day before Christmas, Santa gifted me and my sister a special bag-pack! "Cinderella" Suitcase for my sister and "Ben 10" suitcase for me. We were thrilled. 

We thanked Santa and quickly finished our packing. The next morning after Christmas we started our vacation. It was 4.5 hours from my home to Mahabaleshwar Hotel. The hotel had a nice lawn for kids to play. A Swimming pool, Gaming Zone and more. The very sight of the hotel excited us. There was a Christmas Tree at the reception. While my sister and I were exploring the place, my Mom and Dad took the room keys. We entered the room and WOW! It was a Bunk Room...just like my Bunk Bed. We like it a lot. 

We freshened up and went to have lunch. The lift was open with glass all around and it showed us the city and the green hills around us when we went to the next floor. It used to stop when we touched its walls. After lunch, we went to a few view points. One of which is Elephant Head point, the tip of the mountain was like an elephant. There were many Monkeys there. We went for a Horse ride that day. 

At the hotel, we went for Swimming, where there was a water slide which took us right to the swimming pool. We enjoyed the water a lot. We played many indoor games, musical tambola and many more. We also went to the temple of Lord Shiva and also saw the birthplace of 5 rivers called panchganga mandir. The rivers named Krishna, Savitri, Venna, Gayatri and Koyna flowing closely in Mahabaleshwar mountains.

At Panchgani, we saw Table Top, Strawberry gardens where there were heaps of strawberries, we also climbed and went into a few caves.

Overall, I and my sister enjoyed our vacation a lot and shared many stories with our friends.
