In the silence of my thoughts, I stand alone,
Afraid, scared, in a sombre tone.
A sadness grips, vulnerability's seed,
Planted deep within, a growing need.
Yet, how do I voice this inner strife,
When my role is to shield your life?
From tension, stress, and worldly blues,
I'm here to nurture, not to accuse.
You're the sole light in my darkest days,
Losing you is a fear that stays.
I'd starve to feed you, bear any cost,
For without you, I am truly lost.
Girls may not grasp this silent plea,
The weight of words, how heavy they be.
They speak their minds, free and clear,
Unaware of the turmoil, we men bear.
I watch your moods, your highs and lows,
Careful with words, as the soft wind blows.
Anger in me, I strive to quell,
For your happiness, in which I dwell.
You understand me, more than most,
In your eyes, I'm not just a ghost.
I strive to keep the bad moods at bay,
To bring you joy, every single day.
It's not your fault, this I know,
Perhaps it's mine, this feeling of woe.
Vulnerability, a new sensation,
Mind entangled, in a dizzying rotation.
Breath comes heavy, discomfort's embrace,
Family woes, a taxing race.
But worry not, for I'll endure,
With a smile, my intentions pure.
For you, my love, are all I've got,
In this tangled life, a precious thought.
I'll handle it all, come what may,
For us, together, there's always a way.
