Footprints

A walk on the sand just along the shore with footprints which seemed to be washed away once the waves are back. They don't see the footprints that chase them but they do see who walks alongside. I guess they want to hide the ones who move alongside as the waves have seen them just stroll on the sand not bothered with how many times they do come in and the number of times they recede. They stay there never interfering with the waves , just enjoying the presence of the waters that they hear just beside. The footprints just get washed away and no one ever knows how many did walk alongside. Even the ones that do chase the waves are washed away leaving now a trace of the steps that were there a few minutes back.

I am sure we all did follow the footprints on the sand to match the steps in fun but as we turn back it's not visible anymore and you have your own being left behind visible as long as the waves don't come back again. I guess there are times we blindly follow people , their ideologies and then but we soon realise there is always a time when they disappear and we have no choice but to make our way ourselves. Life has its own course for each one of us but we can never follow someone completely. Time is like the waves which washes away everything and you need to make yourself visible by making a mark in life. Till someone just like you follows you for sometime and then bringing up something new for others to follow 

There are so many who walk alongside and remain there just assuring you that you are never alone in good times or  rough. Everything does make a mark , be it people or be it anything but time changes everything and what remains is just the sand on which you keep walking either with footprints that someone follows or just something which was there to be washed away leaving nothing to tread upon. Life keeps flowing alongside with its waves some gentle , some strong but what matters is the steps you make either towards it chasing your dreams or just walking alongside with no aim at all. ........
