I was running very fast, out of breath and thirsty. My legs felt like jelly, ready to collapse, but nothing stopped me from running. I didn't know where I was running toward. It was a never-ending road, pitch black—only darkness. It was very terrifying, but the shadow following me was even more terrifying than the darkness. I tried to hide in that darkness, but I couldn't.
Suddenly, I was out of that darkness but was greeted by a splash of water. Then, I realized I was late for school, and my mom had just thrown a glass of water on me to wake me up.
