My space

It just my laptop and coffee
With a world around me on mute
With no one that I hear without airpods
With no one that I could I say
I never knew
I just sit around the corner 
A little space is all I need
Where all I do is seen to be on my own
Just a do not disturb sign is all I need.
There is so much that goes around me
I never give any heed 
I am happy with my world on mute
With just a strong coffee beside me.
I see you say something
Which I hear not
I don't care what it was
While I enjoy watching so many
Or listening to a stranger talk.
I find sense on screen
I do not understand anything that you do say
You might find me speaking to someone
Who is not visible to you anyway.
The world is lonely you see
Though you say we have connected well
Where those in front of you are on in mute
While those far away have so much to tell.
