Sometimes it feels like
Life, in a desperate attempt to find me
In the bolt from the blue
Meets me with unforeseen nuances
But I let it taste its own medicine
Like the pills I savoured as a toddler, only sweeter,
I bring into my life joys unprecedented
In the little moments I create memories
Like the chill of the fall wind against my ears
Letting my hair fly wild
As I let the full moon chase me through the ride
The warmth of his body and that within my heart
Playing irony against Taylor’s new album
But I vibe to and smile
“Midnight rain” making me want to dance in solitude
Letting the breeze kiss my face all over
The only time I cheat

The only time I foil some of life’s ugly plans
I look up at the dark and starry sky

I create my own joys
In things around me that is
Devoid of me, yet so complete, content
If you ask, its an almost-bliss

What’s so commonly considered so despicable

Could be adored and loved and celebrated
In a way that I do
Like its the festival of lights
Fireworks lighting up the lonely sky
They say I am a giver,
So I give back life its amaze sauce
I create my own joys
I define life.
